An anti-ragging cell has been constituted with a senior faculty at the helm to monitor students activities, particularly their behavior with freshers. All the students of the institute have been sternly warned against any such misdeed that would otherwise tarnish the institute’s image especially in view of its stand on ethics and morality. They are advised to abide by the directives of Hon’ble supreme court that considers “ragging” as a “criminal offence” punishable under the law. So any form of ragging where a student is detected to have indulged in, is severely dealt with, with a punishment, including expulsion from the hostle or institute, as per the recommendation of the cell and on the basis of the seriousness and gravity of the offence committed.
